The Red Cedar Inn is a Museum, Visitor Center, Children's Museum, and Gift Shop on the Historic Route 66. This building is home to the former Red Cedar Inn Restaurant built in 1934 with wood logs from the family farm and filled with chinking to reflect the pioneer days and attract guests. The restaurant was famous for their fried chicken and other food and remained open until 2005. The Red Cedar Inn is now restored as a pit stop with information on Route 66, Pacific, Missouri, and the old Red Cedar Inn Restaurant.
